Volkswagen says undecided on Kaluga plant sale

MOSCOW, Mar 1 (PRIME) -- Car producer Volkswagen has made no final decision to sell its plant in Russia's Kaluga, a spokesperson told PRIME on Wednesday when RBC reported that car dealer Avilon was the main contender for the facility the deal for which could be signed on Friday.

"We are constantly monitoring the situation and considering various scenarios of further actions,” the spokesperson said.

“One of them is the sale of Volkswagen Group Rus’ assets to a third party. Yet, a decision on the issue is yet to be made."
